Parry's name was made on Court Philippe-Chatrier in May 2022, when the 19-year-old — ranked 97th — beat defending champion and world No. 2 Barbora Krejcikova 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 in the first round, her first win over anyone inside the top 50. Her elegant one-handed backhand drew instant comparisons to Amélie Mauresmo. A steady climb to No. 48 by late 2024 was followed by a slide back outside the top 100, which is where this tracker found her in February 2026: ranked 102nd and moving upward again, fresh off a semifinal run at the Ostrava Open earlier that month.

The rebuild kept paying off after her featured week. In May she won the Trophée Clarins in Paris for a second time — top seed Madison Keys retired mid-match in the final — and at Roland-Garros she came from two points from defeat to beat sixth-seeded Amanda Anisimova, breaking a run of five Grand Slam third-round exits to reach her first fourth round. By 22 June 2026 she held a new career-high ranking of No. 47.
