Monday took the American college route to the pro tour, and few have made it pay like he did: four straight All-SEC First Team seasons at Tennessee, SEC Player of the Year in both 2023 and 2024, six ITA All-America honours and a run to the top of the NCAA singles rankings. When he left Knoxville in 2024 he converted that form immediately, reeling off three ITF M25 titles in three consecutive weeks that October. By the autumn of 2025 he had reached his first Challenger singles final in Sioux Falls — losing a three-tiebreak heartbreaker to Patrick Kypson — and set a career-high ranking of No. 212.
