Navone's first climb was one of the fastest in recent Argentine tennis: barely three weeks after his first match at ATP 500 level, the qualifier from Nueve de Julio was contesting the 2024 Rio Open final, and by June that year he was ranked No. 29 in the world — high enough to make his Grand Slam main-draw debut at Roland Garros as a seeded player. Then came the harder part. A 19–24 record in 2025 dragged him from the 40s into the 90s, and he opened 2026 back on the Challenger circuit rather than at the sport's top table.

The second climb has been steadier than the first. In March 2026 he won the Cap Cana Challenger 175 in the Dominican Republic — his first title on a hard court — jumping 18 ranking spots back toward the top 60. Three weeks later in Bucharest he converted his third ATP final into a first ATP title, beating Daniel Mérida 6–2, 4–6, 7–5 at the Țiriac Open, and by May he had added another clay final in Geneva and returned to the top 40.
