The Perth product opened 2026 ranked around No. 204 — and announced herself within a fortnight. Handed a wildcard into the Hobart International, she stunned top seed Emma Raducanu 6–2, 6–4 in the quarterfinals on 15 January — her first career top-30 win — to reach her maiden WTA semifinal. The climb kept going through the spring: as 7th seed she won the Ando Securities Open in Tokyo (ITF W100) in April, beating Lanlana Tararudee 6–1, 4–6, 6–4 in the final.

The payoff came in West Vancouver. At the Odlum Brown VanOpen (WTA 125), 27 July – 1 August, the third seed took out Harriet Dart, second seed Mananchaya Sawangkaew, and finally fellow West Australian Maddison Inglis 7–6(5), 6–3 in an all-Perth final — her maiden WTA 125 title. The trophy fired her 13 spots up the rankings to a career-high No. 106, from No. 204 in January to the top-100 doorstep in seven months. Coached since age eight by Brad Dyer, she was a combined junior world No. 10 before turning her attention to the pro tour.
